"The whole of "Roses For Maria" will be appearing in paperback in 2007 courtesy of Blurb--rather than--Lulu.com ... anyone who wishes will be able to buy copies there. However, I won't make it available until after the whole thing has appeared here. No cheating on my loyal fans ... my, er ... loyal ... *peers around at empty auditorium* ummm ... Also, people can feel free to post comments about the online serial version here. In addition, "Karasevdah" (my non-EQ horror/fantasy novel) is also coming out the same way ... will be available in large paperback format for $16.98, just as soon as I approve the hard-copy ... about one week or so, I'm thinking.

So they will only be available through the one website you listed? I enjoyed the first read of Roses for Maria - nice work. ;D Thanks ... "Roses" will appear serially on this site serially, and then after it's finished appearing here, an "all-in-one" version between two covers--traditional print format--will be available through Blurb, and only through Blurb, in early 2007 sometime. I may hold off long enough to put "The Aion Engine" in the same volume with it, if there seems to be any interest in that. But "Aion" won't start appearing until after the last instalment of "Roses" has appeared. Assuming JenGe's assent and co-operation. Other than that, I have an alternate Slater story entitled "Death On Rye (Hold The Mustard)" which could go in instead. "Karasevdah" is already available in electronic format at www.karasevdah.com, but for those who like traditional print format, "Karasevdah" will also be available between covers through Lulu, and only through Lulu ... hopefully in a week or so! Gawd ... after twenty-two years ...

Lulu has a no-fanfic policy. You may consider a more edited version, or be prepared to defend how your EQ background isn't really an EQ background. Which will of course not work as soon as they see the threads on the website.
No, I'm not reporting anyone to Lulu. Just letting everyone know in advance about the policy should they decide to be looking for ways to publish their fic.

Assuming JenGe's assent and co-operation. I think you would need to look more to Dimension's/Miramax's co-operation if you are planning to "sell" anything Equilibrium related. They hold all copyrights to that universe. For those interested chaper 3 has been posted... equilibriumfans.com/Roses_For_Maria3.htm

Just to let everyone know: the story is alive! I have sent Part 5 off to our doughty EO; it will introduce a special Guest Star to the proceedings.

Hmmmm ... no comments on the new chapter ...I guess the special guest star I introduced is less than impressive ... I might have to punch things up a bit ... maybe add some more sex or something ... ;D

I've managed to catch up. Have no idea where the plot's going yet so it's intriguing. Poor old Robbie. Doesn't anyone like him? You've turned him into vegetable. Wolf killed him off. My plans for him...well...poor lad.*snickers*
Slater kind of reminds me of those old 50s detectives, with a hint of Inspector Morse and a dash of Sergeant Lewis, topped off with a sprinkle of DCI Tom Barnaby (not that there's a murder quite yet!)

Eh ... well well ... no fear ... the corpse delivery may be a bit delayed ... but I like to give 'em some character and make 'em simpatico ... get you to like 'em before I start capping 'em! (Wait ... I think Herzog's dead ... *checks* Yep ... but more slam-bang action coming!)

Let's face it ... sons are always measured up to fathers, and poor Robbie's got quite a pair of Cleric's chukkas to fill.

Sent off #7--in which we meet another member of the Preston famiglia--to our redoubtable E.O. to-day. Should be appearing in due course. *cue music: Jerry Vale singing "Eh, Cumpari."*
