Well guys, enjoy one of the only commentaries you'll get from me beside my babblings on the forum... "The Vindication Factor"

I'm in the UK, and I've been waiting with bated breath to see whether EQ would do well at the box-office here. I'm glad that it has, it's certainly one of my all-time favourite films after a couple of cinema viewings. I remember a similar situation to a lesser degree when one of my favourite thrillers, "Croupier" with Clive Owen, flopped in its home country, the UK. It did quite well elsewhere though, and such things certainly do give one a sense of vindication, and validation. Great site, keep up the good work eh.

Hey thanks Spider Al, You can't imagine how wonderful it is for us fans in the US to see EQ doing well over there. We all had confidence that it would.
Glad you like the site too. - Jen

That's such a shame that EQ had such bad luck in the States. Everyone I know here in Glasgow, Scotland who's seen it absolutely loved it, I've not met a single person yet who didn't like it better than the Matrix.
On the other hand, its great that its doing so well in comparison over here. It just proves that it is a good movie, and I'm sure that if it had had better marketing and a decent cinema running time in the USA it would have done much better.

The surprising thing is that relatively few people in the USA know that EQ exists even today. I'd wager to bet that by pure numbers alone (and not percentages) more people in the UK know of its existence than in the US.
If you even knew about this film and had the opportunity to see it you were one of a lucky few.
