I want to personally thank Simon for creating this for the site. I do have one question though. The last one states that it's a "goof." I remember we had threads here discussing this scene and how Preston quickly switched the firearms in it. So is it really a "goof" or the switch of the two guns?? Another thing...I'm still working on indexing the other past articles and should have it done soon...

Goof: In scene where the police arrest Preston's wife, Preston takes a Colt M4 rifle from one of the police and than points it at another one's throat, when he points it at the cop the M4 has changed to a Beretta AR70 rifle. I think Simon's right here but I'd have to go through the DVD again to see for certain. M4 A1: Beretta AR70: Ok. I did some slow mo searching on this and this is what happens. Preston takes the M4 from one Sweeper, uses said M4 to smack another Sweeper's Beretta AR70 out of his hand and into Preston's own. Result: Not a goof. Result 2: Preston is THE BADASS.

One quick grammar thing that I noticed (please pardon me for being the grammar police *laughs*): Where it says "*WHITE SWEEPERS AND THERE NEW FN P90’S*" It should be "their" rather than "there." Again, hope you don't mind; I'm just trying to help And, if I can badger my father into watching the scene again, I might be able to tell you what kind of gun the resistance leader used (He knows these things , and too often likes to point them out in the middle of movies anyway hehe...) Tchao.

No problem at all. I already found a few myself and I'm sure there are more that I did not pick up on.
Thanks!!

Thanks heeps!!! I didn't know I'd get this kind of feedback, so thanks! You guys rock! Yeah about the M4... I feel very silly, because I watched that thing 1000 times! And i submitted it to IMDb! GREAT JOB with that flow chart ClericWolf! I'm sorry about the gramma, i knew from past experiance that that was going to happen... Julianna, if your dad can identify that revolver please post it on this forum! Thanks again!

Simon, don't worry about the grammer. I find errors in mine all the time. It really is not big deal.
Thanks again for creating an awesome new article for the site!!!

I'M STILL COVINCED THAT IT CHANGES!!!
I KEEP ON WATCHING IT. THE M4 IN CLERICWOLFS FLOW CHART IS STILL AN AR70!
WHEN THE SWEEPER FIRST POINTS IT AT PRESTON IT'S AN AR70, THAN IT TURNS INTO THE M4, THAN IT TURNS INTO THE AR70 AGAIN WHEN HE WACKS THE OTHER SWEEPERS AR70 INTO HIS NECK.
YOU CAN TELL BECAUSE AN M4 HAS A THIN TELESCOPIC SCOPE AND THE AR70 HAS A THICK FIXED STOCK WHITCH YOU GET A GOOD LOOK AT WHEN HE'S MOVING IN ON THE SECOND SWEEPER!!!

All caps is considered to be shouting there fella Heh, Jen is there any way you can find out the truth, like maybe poking Steve W and see if he knows since he storyboarded the sequence he might have an inkling?

You know, I think I have a practice version of that sequence on my behind the scenes CD's. I'll get that one uploaded next so you guys can take a look at it. It'll take me a few days though to get it done...

There is a goof, sorry to say. It is only a m4 rifle for the closeup (when preston snaps the guys finger). I bet its a second unit shot, or a reshoot.

There is not a second unit on the scene that I know of. At this point I'm still going to wait until I have the "blocking" video done before I change anything...

Looks like Wolf was right! Towards the end of this blocking clip, you'll see the guy in the white shirt -- the fight coordinator?-- toss the rifle (M4) he had just taken from the guy (whose fingers Preston would be breaking) to the floor, and then he twists the wooden stick (AR70) that the other guy is holding and presses him against the wall with it. Kewl! This was funny too... how they were fixing that blue mat (which seemed to be in two pieces) earlier, but the guy in the white shirt trips on it anyway! ;D I was looking for KW, then he comes into the camera view with his signature shorts, and I thought, "There's Kurt!" ;D Thanks Jen! (BTW, I couldn't download the VOB file for some reason.)
