And the gift that creates a giant sucking sound ... into which every hour of your day disappears ... but there isn't really a choice, since you have problems with watches, as I do. Now if it was a choice between DSL and a Cleric coat like Frivvy's ... well ... no contest! Well, I can hear that sound even with my "free night" dialup! My family don't see me at all because I sleep all day long: the only thing betraying my presence is mysterious disappearance of food by night. As for the coat, I can make it myself (I'm working on it right now), but I can't say the same about the watch! ;D

Jeez...am I the only person daft enough to have a day job around here??!! ;D Oh...actually...you're still recuperating aren't you GF? My apologies!

i know its late to be replying to this, but i would just like to say that i would absoulutely love a EQ beretta + the mod (made with an airsoft gun) that would be great i live in SA in Gauteng Randburg, i would pay about $150 for the whole thing and about R1100 if its right here in SA and i dont have to pay for shipping costs...

I don't believe I ever weighed in on the weapons themselves (Good to see you, Furion. Here ... have one on me.) Now where was I ... oh, yes. I'd buy an actual Beretta that inspired the Cleric's weapon ... looks like a variation on the good old M9.

For those that havent seen, I'm in the process of having the mod pieces machined to fit on the 'HFC M190 Special Forces" Beretta Airsoft. Check my other posts for more info. If I can get enough people interested then I should be able to shave the costs down and get them to you guys for a decent price. -CSF

I would be very interested in purchasing any kind of replica that I can. I have been searching everywhere and while I can find pictures of people who have replicas ... I can't find anyone making them. For me, I don't care if it can be fired or not but I am interested in it being as close to the original as possible and to be a decent weight and compositing material.
If anyone knows of a place that is making these replicas please pass it on!

I would deffinitly buy both the Airsoft guns as well as the real deal. These last years I have been suffering from function over form, so if there's too much fluff on something, I tend to disregard it as, well, fluffy. This rings true in regards to my selection of firearms. I must remind myself that firearms can also be beautiful, as well functional.
That being said, I do like gadgets. All of my personal firearms have tactical lights, or illuminators as some would call them, and I have made use of electronic and holographic sights, such as the Aimpoint brand and L3's Eotech. The majority of my experience comes from practical military and law enforcement use, so I do know what works for me. I have recently taken up an interest in three-gun competion; i.e. pistol, rifle, shotgun, with the great Jerry Miculek as one of the key influences. If you ever get a chance, Youtube him firing and reloading a revolver. He set a world record for firing, reloading and firing again. Something like 12 rounds in under two seconds. FROM A REVOLVER!!!
