thats great news, let us know how much it would cost for the whole package (the airsoft beretta that it fits and the front extention) please im willing to pay for this BTW what is an airsoft gun, does it actually shoot something out of the barrel or is it just for display cause im looking for an equilibrium beretta that shoots something out of the barrel with awesome power, does an airsoft gun do that ?

Yes, Airsoft is a lot like paintball, only more realistic, and uses 6mm plastic BBs instead of the .62 cal paintballs. Check out this link, it has some good info. www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/Beginners#q1 The guns that I'm using also come in a semi/full auto combo, so they can be very close to those in the movie. I'm still waiting on the final quote from the machine shop, but for those wanting an estimate, I would say between 150-300 bucks, in addition to the price of the gun. This is by no means a final price, since I have no idea how much the parts will be. I'm working on my new website, and that will have the prices for each model, as well as a way to order them. -Cory

Thats great news! uhm just some questions that I would like to be answered ASAP ive ordered ONE of these guns: HFC M190 Special Force (Full Metal Version) - [FULL Auto] BLACK here is the link to how it looks: www.redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/airsoft/ProductDetail?prodID=20669ok i was wondering if this MOD that turns the beretta into the equilibrium sidearm would fit this gun, i would most deffinately pay R300 if it was right her in South africa and did not have to be shipped. so to sum up: *Will the MOD that u are creating fit that gun i linked you to previously ? *Do you live in South Africa if so - where ? Thanks so much, please get back to me asap on this, speed would be most appreciated regards Cleric F

Yes, that gun is the one that my design is based off of. In fact, I believe as of right now, it is the only one the mod will fit. As much as I would like to tell you I live in South Africa, I don't. I live on the west coast of the USA, and I'm sorry to say, as of right now, we dont ship outside of the continental USA. We will be eventually, but since we are just starting out, we dont have the resources to ship global. Sorry, -CSF

Thanks for that info so quickly, The company im buying that exact gun from is only getting new stock in one month. so maybe you will have the shipping all sorted out in a month, and i can get both items shipped at the same time heres another idea: do u know where the actual RedWolf AirSoft company headquarters are ? because if u do, just take the MOD that fits THAT EXACT GUN to them, and i will pay THEM for shipping costs (shipping costs for the gun THEY ARE SUPPLYING + shipping costs for your MOD) and i just pay YOU the money for your mod *pay you for YOUR MOD DESIGN FITTING THAT EXACT GUN *PAY RedWolF Airsoft for the gun + shipping costs for both the gun and your MOD think that would work ? bye for now Regards Cleric F South Africa

Redwolf is based out of Hong Kong, China. As good as that idea sounds, I don't think it would work. 1 month sounds reasonable. I believe FedEx will do most of the work for me. It really depends on how fast the machine shop gets back to me, as far as time goes. They are still calculating their quote. Once they get back to me on that, then I'll order one for a prototype, then once I make sure that works, I will order ~10 sets to start. Since we never saw it taken apart in the movie, I speculated how the gun would strip, so with my design, you can take the gun apart without taking the mod pieces off. Here are a couple pictures from the CAD Program I used for design: www.geocities.com/csfprophx/EQ.JPGwww.geocities.com/csfprophx/EQ2.JPGEQ.jpg is how they fit together, and EQ2.jpg is how they will slide apart. I will also be stamping them with individual serial numbers, as well as including a half-sheet page to put over the original sticker on the case the guns come with. Also, for anyone else who is curious, as far as I know, these only fit on the 'HFC M190 Special Forces' line of Beretta's. I will be designing one that fits on any standard Beretta w/o a tac rail, but for now, this is all we have. -CSF

Exellent. you have got me so excited about this whole thing, my ultimate DREAM! is to pull this off:
to have that exact m190 special forces full steel version [black] gun shipped to me. and then to have this mod which fits it exactly shipped to me aswell, that wud really be the cherry on top.
i have dreamed of having a strong, firable cleric sidearm since i watched the movie in 2003.
and now that dream has actually become a reality.
i cant wait for those pictures of the mod attatched to the m190 beretta, and that site of ures sounds awesome, lemmi know AS SOON as its up. i will be at it in a flash - also i check this thread about 5 times a day. thats how badly i want to put all these things together
thanks so much for taking part in this and trying your best to organise it

BY THE WAY will the MOD be the exact same colour as the gun (the black one) ?
and another thing in picture EQ 2 there are 2 pieces the front bit with the pointy tip and the slide, do both come with the mod, or does that slide like image represent the bottom slide of the actual gun ?

No, there will be 2 pieces to the mod, and yes, they will be as close in color as paint allows them to be. The bottom piece mounts onto the rail on the frame of the gun, and the top piece mounts to the barrel, and then the entire gun is slid back together. There will be 2 set screws, one underneath that fits in the slot on the rail, and the other that tightens onto the barrel. This picture shows what I mean. www.geocities.com/csfprophx/eqcomp.jpgGonna go see 300 tonight, but the rest of my weekend will be devoted to the website. -CSF P.S. lol P.P.S. 300 is the SH!T!!!!!!!! Go see it ASAP, you wont regret it. If you do regret it, then you don't deserve to share the air that I breathe...

Hehe, i have seen adverts and what not, but here in South Africa it has not come out on big screen yet, i think its coming out this weekend. it is DEFFINATELY a must see, i love those trojian/spartan kinda movies, just like Troy that was also good, but this 300 movie looks epic!
anyway back to the gun, it's looking good i cant load that link, doesnt want to work :< but ill keep trying. and the 2 pieces part is cool, uhm in that same program that u used to make those other pieces, could you maybe try and design (if you have time) the whole thing put together (that is the 2 pieces of the mod + the m190 special forces gun) all put together, only if u have time, and im glad ure going to devote as much time to the website - im looking forward to that

I'm not familiar with the 'Rand.' I'm guessing that is a South African currency. Unfortunatly, All of our prices are in USD. Although, like I said before, I have no idea how much the parts are going to be. If the machine shop will ever get back to me, then I can give you a closer price estimate. I honestly don't want to charge more than $250 for these, because these aren't the 'Perfect' version. These make the guns very similar, but they sacrafice looks to retain their usability. If I were to make these guns as close to the movie as posible, you would no longer be able to take the weapon apart for cleaning, and it would take some modification to the actual weapon as well. Once I get this version working, and I put it through it's paces, I will start development on a 'Damn-Near Perfect' version. Obviously the selector switch wouldn't control the weapon's fire rate, but more likely it will be attached to the disassembly lever. The original finger guard will have to be ground off, and a new one will be machined with the mod to be one piece, and then a hole will be drilled in the handle to mount the other side of the new finger guard. The 'DNP' version wont be in the $150-300 range, with that much work, it will be a small-batch semi-limited edition, costing at least $550 for the entire weapon. Also, with that much modification, it will require the full metal versions, and it will no longer be able to be sold in kit form.
On a different note, I was looking through Redwolf's GBB pages, and it looks like my mod *MIGHT* fit on the KJ Works m9 vertec, but no guarantees.
Also, about designing the M190 in CAD, that would be way to much work. I did that once when I was working on my Desert Eagle project, and I have to say, the amount of detail that goes into drawing an existing firearm in CAD is ridiculous. I only drew the slide and barrel of the DE, and it took me 3 days to get that far. I finally gave up on the frame. I have a basic webpage up right now, and I will post a picture of that project later.
With an assortment of @ss-kickery, -CSF

that depresses me :< $250 JUST FOR THE MOD ?
wow, thats DOUBLE what the entire gun itself costs... yes Rands is the south african currency, and the gun is $115 so $250 just for the mod is insane that is about 1830 RAND for me, where as the gun is only 850 rand, from my point of view that is an insane price, and AS MUCH as i would LOVE to buy it, i cannot pay twice what i payed for the gun do u see where im coming from ?
i dont understand how the mod which is about one quarter of the size of the GUN can cost so much, where as the gun fires, and takes MUCH longer to make ?

another thing, who in their right mind would pay DOUBLE the price for the MOD as to the gun ? rather make it much cheaper about 40 dollars MAX then SO much more people will actually buy the mod, and you would make SO much more money. tell me honestly how much does it cost to manufactuerer ONE of those mods ? surely not to much ?
thanks man

Not to sound insulting, but had you paid attention, I have said I don't know how much it will cost to manufacture in several posts. I'm still waiting on the machine shop to give me a quote. Besides, the area 51 cleric guns went for ~$600, brand new, and they weren't as close to the movie design as this first version will be. I admit, for right now, these pieces aren't as good as they could be, but they are pretty close, and also one of the few mods you can buy online. As much as I would love to charge $40 for this, I'm sure the parts themselves will be at least $50, and then theres paint and the set screws, so we are looking at a minimum of $55. Since this project has taken me a lot of time and effort, 3 years with a couple months worth of sleepless nights, I'm looking to make a decent profit off of these. If the parts come out to about $50, then I'll probably sell them for about $125, we'll see. In order for them to sold in the $40-60 price range, they would have to be made out of incredibly cheap quality metal, or perhaps ABS plastic. I will be learning to work with ABS eventually, but for right now, CNC-machined aluminum will have to suffice. -CSF

Hehe thats not insulting at all, it was my mistake as i read every other post u made, so no prob there, but considering im going to be paying rands for the mod it is only unfair on me, im sure americans have a spare 125 dollars for something they really want, i dont have a spare R1000 (approximately 125 dollars) you see. so maybe u can just sell one cheaper to me, and sell it to peeps in america for 125 dollars, ill even pay up to 70 dollars for it (which is 512 rand) come on 70 dollars is still alot considering im only paying $83 for the gun (ive decided to go with the m190 special forces semi auto) sorry for posting those things i said before i read your posts clearly. u did indeed state u did not know the price but i just cant pay more than $70 please consider it, as a favour. I would really appreciate it thanks alot once again regards Cleric F

and another thing ive decided to buy the HFC m190 [full metal version] [semi auto] beretta OLIVE DRAB colour, but now if i buy a black modification it will look terrible with the black mod and the olive drab coloured gun, so can u maybe get the hue for that olive drab gun, and make me an olive drab coloured mod, just wondering if its possible and not to much effort ? thanks alot

You are asking quite a lot for wanting a deal. Tell you what, I'll send it to you unpainted, because it will be easier for you to match the colors, and thats less work for me, so that will drop the price a tad. I will post new 2D pictures on the website. -CSF

I'm not specifying the terms of our deal until I find out the price of the parts. Plus, sending it unpainted is not going to be a ~40% discount. There will be other terms that we can PM about. No, the deal will not include shipping. Not to sound like a jerk, but I'm not running a charity here. The intent is for this to be a profitable venture. I'm sorry, but if you have to save up for a little longer in order to cover even the discounted price, then so be it. I'm not an unfair guy, I understand how it is to be broke and wanting something, and I will work with you as much as possible, but at the end of the day, I'm still in it for the income. -CSF P.S. Hehe i can judge just by the posts you and i have been sending, u are deffinately not an unfair guy. and i most deffinately understand you will want to make a profit obviously...and im cool with that. however, it wont be "saving up a little longer" for me to save up and extra 1000 rand AFTER ive baught the gun is about a 10 month wait. i wont be able to save more than 100 rand per month but i KNOW that u cant make a deal before u find a deffinate price and i respect that. so can i ask you to please lemmi know on this forum/email me as soon as u have a deffinate price for each mod and then obviously the discount regarding what we spoke about earlier in the post. it would be great for us to talk over e-mail dont u think my e-mail adress is satara@webmail.co.za whats yours ? and dont forget America is 10 hours behind South Africa in time, so when im sleeping ure in mid day so lets keep contact over e-mail and talk about whats happening with matters regarding buying and shipping this MOD in a more private enviroment thanks very much, you are being very good to me, and its GREATLY appreciated Regards Cleric F
