When Preston goes to the morgue (or whatever it is) and says he's very sorry and waits to get Partridge's things, Partridge's body is shown and I don't see a bullet wound in him!!
Did they make a boo boo while filiming the movie?

It's been a few weeks since I've seen it, but if I recall, the bullet wound is visible in his neck (low, near the collar bone)...

During the STS dream sequence, they show Partidge's body just before it goes into the incinerator, and you can see a wound on his neck.

Did anyone find the bullet wound in the scene where Preston is in the morgue type of room and apologizing and looking through Partridge's things?

I didn't see anything that scene, so they probably did make a mistake. That's assuming the thing I saw on his neck in the dream was supposed to be the original wound to begin with.

The gun shot wound IS there, trust me! Partridge was shot in the very highest regions of his chest, just underneath his throat.
Look again. In the scene when Preston says that he's sorry I see the gun shot easily everytime they show Partridge from above.

Yeah I saw the wound in that scene, too. I thought it was a little odd, though, because I first thought the bullet hole should have been in his forehead or his face. It seemed he was reading/looking at the book when Preston shot him, and the bullet hole was right through the middle of the book.

That's what I believe too that the wound should have been in his head, but I did notice that wound in the scene it looke like a blakc burn piece of skin to me, which is why I did not pay attention to it the first time but now that I know different it makes sense that it would be a bullet hole.

The first time I saw the film I also believed that Partridge was shot in the head because it sort of looked like it & that's where most people in movies like this get shot, isn't it? But I've taken a closer look at that angle when Preston shoots him. And if you look closely, even if it's all shot from a distance, Preston DOES aim below the head. And the bullit enters in the upper shest. So this is no blooper or anything like that. That gunshot wound is exactly where it's supposed to be.

Now I don't have to analyze the scene myself, but I probably will wind up doing it anyway.

I have a question, how come the hole is in his neck but preston shot him in the face? JD This question has already been answered for you here... yesterday by MisterAnderson... Have a closer look at the angle of trajectory in JenGe's pic and notice that the bullet would end up in Partridges throat. ...and here is the picture... Now I have a question for you...do you run about message boards only dredging up threads from the murky deep or do you actually take the time to read the responces already made to you??

Ah, a scene where we get to see Sean Bean (partly) naked. (He did get undressed as Macbeth in a stage production, but unfortunately I wasn't in England to see it.) Anyway, I did see the bullet hole near his throat, and was a bit surprised because I too thought Preston had blown his brains off, not the neck part.

Preston always shoots people in the throat. Watch where he shoots DuPont.
I assumed its something to do with gun kata, maybe a higher kill percentage than headshots. Just a guess... Cos you can survive being capped in the face.

Preston always shoots people in the throat. Watch where he shoots DuPont. No he doesn't, he gets shot in the chest. Right thru the neck tie. Just had another look to be sure. I can't see any wound in his neck at all.
