They say that Equilibrium was a Matrix Rip but has anyone else thought about the Matrix Idea being A Terminator 1, 2, 3 Rip? the only way Matrix being a Terminator rip is the whole Man vs Machine thing if anything Matrix rips off alot of other things like Ghost in the Machine and other shits (forgot names) but in my honest opinion i enjoyed TERMINATOR FAAAAAAR MORE THEN MATRIX. I think TERMINATOR is the best movie this summer so far (opinion) had the most fun watching this movie. MANIMAL

Yep 24's already finished in the US! All I can say is you wont be dissapointed or even expect whats coming up! From what I hear they're already planning a season 3 to take place about 2 years after season 2. Should be more interesting than a short gap, considering how Day 2 finished up.

Saw T3 this afternoon and loved it!! I enjoyed it, too. The chase scene must have costs millions, but was definitely worthy! That crane was rockin'! The TX is really only an advanced model of the T1000, still... she's pretty cool, but I never got the sense of doom and indestructability from her like I did from the Terminators in the first two. In filming, they apparently chose not to dwell on her ability to recuperate and her complete (or seemingly complete) indestructability Perhaps they just couldn't come up with something really out-there original. Oh, well. Personally, I thought the T1000 and the T800 were better presented. I loved the dark ending and it was something I didn't expect. The ending was right, it works and it's clever... that's all I'll say about it. A worthy sequel.

Personally... I thought T3 was amazing!!!
It ranks up there with the first 2, even though theres no Furlong or Hamilton. It def. was a great summer flick. I highly recommend it!
Kristanna Loken is so HOT!

Personally (and I will probably receive much clamor about this), I thought Matrix: Reloaded, while fun, was not that good. There was too much emphasis on CGI, when wires could have been subsistuted with a much better effect.
For anyone who is a fan of zombie movies or suspense movies: See '28 DAYS LATER' while is in the theatre!!
I was going to wait until it came to DVD, but I was asked to go along with my girlfriend and her uncle--this was definitely the best decision. The full appeal of the movie can only be brought out by a large screen and extremely loud surround-sound.
If you want to go see League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, read the comics first. Alan Moore and Kevin O'Neill are a (he he he) dynamic duo.

I caught T3 on the 4th and I had a blast. It is definitely a worth sequel and I'm definitely looking forward to T4 and maybe even perhaps T5. Arnold is made for this role and newcomers Nick Stahl and Clare Danes was a welcome addition to the Terminator franchise. It was a trip down to memory lane when watching T3...I remember the first time watching T2 and getting scared the pants off me because someone told me at the time that this was going to happen sometime in the future and I think I fell for it. Ah..the innocent days of my youth. ;D
Oddly, I'm looking forward to LXG as well. None of the cast intrigues me (maybe except Sean Connery and his hilarious accent of his) but I think this could turn out to be a decent flick. I'm considering to watch this and Pirated of the Carribbean this weekend. Anybody looking forward to that? Any Johnny Depp fans?

Ok, so here's a story for ya'all. I'm sitting there in the theater yesterday waiting for Pirates to start when I over hear the guy directly in front of me mention Christian Bale. Naturally my interest peeked...eavesdropping was inevitable...I even had to hush my hubby to hear...well...what do you know?? The guy is telling his friend all about Equilibrium. I was just busting with satisfaction!!! It took all my restraint not to jump the seats and join in the conversation.
BTW, Pirates is a fun popcorn flick and I really enjoyed it. The score was exceptional....I'm becoming quite a fan of Badelt.

I saw 'T3' last weekend. I thought it was pretty good, and I liked the small bits of humor that were worked into it. I also saw 'Pirates' last night, and I loved it. I'm probably going to go see it again. The special effects were really cool.

Saw LXG and I enjoyed this one as well, not everyone will though. It almost felt as if this film was made 30 or 40 years ago instead of this year. Fits in well with all those silly action/adventure flicks like Jason and the Argonauts, Journey to the Center of the Earth, 7th Voyage of Sinbad and such. It really is a throwback. (you can take that either way...)

(you can take that either way...) If you read the comics, then you will find out why it has this feel. BTW, I STILL haven't seen it yet (working coupled with school), but I want to so badly, I'm surely going to Hell. The story-telling abilities of Alan Moore are superb, and the style in which he uses for The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is very reminiscent of the turn of the century in England. Glad you enjoyed the flick--but your approval only makes my forced waiting even more agonizing.

Yeah, I can't wait to see LXG, even though I'm not quite sure what it's about. I like it better that way because I hate going into a movie already knowing most of the plot from the previews. It's a good thing they didn't spoil EQ with previews.
