Something on one of the other threads reminded me of this...Since many of us seem to enjoy movies I'll start by giving a film quote...then you guys guess the picture. The first person to correctly identify the film then does the next quote from any film they want...and so on...
I'll do an easy one: "Life is pain, Highness! Anyone who says differently is selling something." What film??

Sathanai fumbles...JenGe recovers... 1500 years ago, everybody "knew" that the earth was the center of the universe. 500 years ago, everybody "knew" that the earth was flat. And 15 minutes ago, you "knew" that humans were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll "know" tomorrow. What film?? Rules guys...Don't name the film if you do not indend on posting a new quote for the game to continue!!! I will delete the next person that does this!!

"The only rules that really matter are these: what a man can do and what a man can't do. For instance, you can accept that your father was a pirate and a good man or you can't. But pirate is in your blood boy so you'll have to square with that some day. And me, for example, I can let you drown, but I can't bring this ship into Tortuga all be me onesies, savvy? So, can you sail under the command of a pirate, or can you not?"

Wesley Snipes: Demolition man? While he may say that in Demolition Man, that's not the film (or actor) I'm thinking of.... try again! Suzana~

"Is that Gasoline I smell?"Suzana~ Unless you're a fanatic for the movie like I am, this quote might be a bit hard to recognize....I'll provide another quote from the same movie to make it a bit easier. "It can't rain all the time."Suzana~

"Those giraffes you sold me won't mate. They just walk around eating, and not mating. You sold me queer giraffes...I want my money back." Gladiator! This one should be easy: "Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet..."

This one should be easy: "Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet..." Agent Smith from The Matrix 1. This one is pretty easy too:

This one is pretty easy too: Quote:There are many things my father taught me here in this room. He taught me: keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. I know Blade says this in Blade 2, but I don't think I have the correct film that you intend, so I won't put up another new quote.

I know Blade says this in Blade 2, but I don't think I have the correct film that you intend, so I won't put up another new quote. No, I'm sorry, that's not it. I didn't know they used that quote in Blade 2. You're thinking a bit too modern, go back a little in time.

I absolutely love movie quote games, but forum board ones can be easy to claim god-like status in by Googling quotes or using the IMDB quote search engine. Instant messenger or face-to-face ones give a more accurate reading of a persons movie quote savvy. But please, carry on....I hope I haven't rained on anyones parade by pointing this out.

Ding! Ding! Ding! You've got the ball now, cleric MisterAnderson, you are correct, it is very easy to google quotes and get the right answer....lol..that is why I only answer those that I know for sure because I love the movies.....and the Godfather series, I adore. (Got this thing for Al) Anyway for my quote I choose this one.....might be easy might be hard. Oh for goodness sakes, get down off that crucifix, someone needs the wood!

How about this one: "Here we are, having it" Who said it and what movie? The rules are: You can only post the quote, if you correctly guess the last quote, otherwise the game is bound to get confusing.

Didn't you get enough rain in Revolutions?? Besides who said that people couldn't cheat?? It certainly wasn't me!! Cheaters are encouraged & more then welcome ;D ... other wise we run the risk of a stand still...This game is much more fun at a quick pace... This isn't a test or a pop quiz...
