It would be great, if Bale would show up on the boards... I know that he has no time for something like that, but you should tell him anyway. I think he does, actually ... in the form of a personal assistant or studio flunky who registered as "bateman" early on, but who has never logged in after that ... just ghosts in once ever couple-a' months to keep an eye on things. There's a lot of users like that. It would be naive not to think that one of them is connected in some way with Dimension or Sony, and looks in once in awhile to see if we're up to anything that we could be sued for. You mean... They are watching us? *looking up to the sky, beeing scared*

Fortunately I myself am employing Evil Genius technology to baffle them when they try to zero in on me!!*adjusts tinfoil pyramid perched atop head* And now, back to Nanny and Mr Bale ... I do wish her all the best.

I saw him in the flesh, but it was pretty far away. I also had to leave, but my friend Morgan called me tonight and she got me an autograph photo signed by christian with my name NANNY. As soon as she gives me the link after she uploads it, I will post it. I did get a chance to see him pretty close up, but only for about 1 minute. I tried to get a picture, but this guy got in the way. UGH. I'm just happy I got to see him in the flesh finally. I know where they will be filming this whole week, but I doubt I'll go. I'm happy enough with the autograph photo that he signed to me. Morgan told me what happened. It's too bad that some didn't get his autograph, but rules are rules and I'm glad she got to talk to him. She told me he's as sweet as you can imagine. I'm gonna be getting the original picture tomorrow. I'm gonna frame that sucker.

Excellent! Did she provide an actual translation of what he wrote? Not that it makes it uncool or anything, but I'm just curious ... I can't seem to really make it out.

I think it says regards. LOL he was very very tired. He had been working from 9am? to 10pm, so yeah he looked tired too. For him to sign autographs after a long day working, it was so sweet of him to do that." -morgan jacobs

It's a good sign I think, though, when a performer/artist thinks of the fans and goes the extra bit to do a few grafs or shake a hand or two, even after a long day. Face it, in the biz it's almost always long days. (Even before starting shooting at nine, he probably spent three hours in wardrobe and makeup.)
Shooting days tend to be very long because they rent all the equipment by the day, and it's very expensive, so they want to pack as much into a day as they can.
Even if it's only been a two-hour concert in the evening (to use musicians as an example), they probably came off a long bus or 'plane ride from the previous city, had to spend time setting up, testing, light and sound checks, dealing with all the problems of setup ... every venue seems to lack something you'd counted on ... things always go wrong but you have to do the show anyhow. And to-morrow it's gonna be the same thing again, and again. But still they take a little time. That's good.
There's something very uncool about those who just rush in and rush out and won't take a minute or two at least with the fans. Makes you wonder if they even like their jobs or not.

Just, what Aedh said. Shooting of a movie is always very hard, even if it's just a shortfilm, like it was in my case. But this is always the part, which pulls all your energy out of you... The director works often much longer then the actors...

I think it reads, "regards" Also my friend is on the video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=64Ftx1CCRywIf you listen closely you can hear her spelling out lit'l bit and Nanny. If you wear headphones you can actually hear Christian spelling back the names and alittl more. LOL. My friend said he didn't even change, he was still in his costume. She told me that even though he was tired, he signed autographs. She's still trying to get over the shock. LOL. Oh yeah and she tells me, "Nanny, I hate my voice, but it's nice to hear Christian and I talking to each other, even if it's for only a bit and it just makes me admire him even more."

Interesting! For all those who want a taste of what went on during the day filming, and a little of what one might have seen being there, here's a local news report. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8LNyxuS95k&feature=relatedBTW they are quite right in their local pride that the town of Madison itself is a good feature of the movie. I've been there; it's a very attractive place, complete with many of the features like funky boutiques, coffeehouses, and used book stores, that tend to draw me to university towns. I could picture our colleague Cleric Jay enjoying himself doing some studies there.

That was the first time we both were there, we both want to go back there again and explore Madison. She told me she ate at this really weird pizza place that makes really cool pizzas. She just had the pepperoni, but the girl she met there from a forum had a macoroni and cheese pizza? She told me there was one pizza with fritos on top of it. I'm thinking that we should go down there together just alittle road trip. She told me that the capitol is really cool.
