Glad this site exists and spreads the word of this kicking-ass movie, unknown by almost everyone here in my country since it hasn’t been shown in theatres nor released in DVD. I just hope that with the help of Ultraviolet’s hype we can also have the honour to see EQ in Theatres or at least purchase the DVD. I’m glad I’ve converted 2 more people and hope to keep on converting as many as possible. Other interests: Science Fiction of course, Iced Earth, Nevermore and the like. Rock on. My name is Amanda, I'm 15, and I'm from NY. I absolutely love all things action, Christian Bale, and...well, I'll end that list there because it would end up being way too long! I'm relatively new to the EQ obsession, but when it happened, it happened fast! So far, I'm not sure how many people I've actually converted, but I've gotten a lot of people to show great interest in seeing it. That's a start! Let me see...some of my favorite movies are: EQ (duh), Chronicles of Riddick, Moulin Rouge, Serenity, Xmen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Batman Begins, and a lot more. My fav TV shows are Lost, Buffy, and Angel. Some of my fav bands are: Green Day, The All-American Rejects, 3 Doors Down, Kane, Five for Fighting, Howie Day, Anna Nalick, and Fall Out Boy, to name a few. Some of the hottest guys in the world are: Christian Bale (8D), Ewan McGregor, Christian Kane, James Marsters, Keanu Reeves, Nathan Fillon, and a lot more. I’m an avid horse-back rider (been riding 6 ½ years and am currently in the process of training a horse), snowboarder, reader, writer, and drawer. I play the flute and the baritone saxophone. This is the first board I’ve joined. I’m a big Buffy/ Angel RPGer on Yahoo. Well, I guess that's enough! It really bothers me because whenever I try to list everything I love, nothing comes to mind! (anyone else here have a john preston addiction? ) i'm particularly passionate about literature, art and music, so this film really struck a chord with me, and i'll be hard pressed to find a movie that affects me more i want to say thanks so much for this truely awesome site - most websites (for films that are more widely known than equilibrium) dont have half the depth of content, and apparently community, that this site does! thanks for reading! My name is Lyds and I live in San Francisco. I vaguely remember seeing the trailer for this movie way back when and thinking, "nah, I'll pass on this one". Boy, was I ever wrong! I discovered Equilibrium while searching for movies to add to my Netflix queue and after reading the synopsis thought (not having totally remembered it from before), "hey this movie sounds cool". And needless to say I've been obsessed ever since. It has taken up near permanent residence in my dvd player and I've been downloading every fan vid I can find. Many Thanks to JenGe for creating and maintaining this site, it has been my main source of information for all things Equilibrium.
