This has been a long time coming and I'm thrilled to actually get it on the site at last. All of us who write EQfics have our own perceptions of Libria and how she fared after the film ended and certainly our own ideas of what may have happened to Preston, Jurgen and the others. I wanted to pursue my ideas of a Libria not descending into chaos but struggling to find a new equilibrium and to explore how Kyra Flynn and John Preston deal with their new roles and their new relationships. I'm aware that I've assumed that readers are familiar with Kyra and the events in my other fics, but I felt that too much explanation would inhibit the flow of this story.
